Still Taking It Easy
So after the calls, I decided to open some stuff I got about two months ago and take pictures for a blog post coming soon, and then I finished the last needle felting kit I bought. I will say now I don't think I will be purchasing any more Dimensions needle felting kits. The wool was disgusting. Out of all the kits I got, that was the only kit that was just nasty. I'd read someone had the same issue happen but thought maybe it was a one-off. Nope, it's just their wool. I believe it had chunks of wood in it that got dyed with the wool. There has to be a way to get wood out of wool, or at least most of it. This wool had bits all through it. I'll explain more in my post about it.
Then I ended the day with a little bit of "Girl Meets World", cute show and actually quite similar to "Boy Meets World", more on that in another post as well. And now I am settling down to play a little Tomodachi Life on my Nintendo 3DS while catching up on some vlogs and videos on Youtube. Not really an eventful day, but not bad either. Super tired guys and gals. I'll update more tomorrow. I've got a lot of stuff on my mind. Take care until then. Bye for now.

Way To Waste A Day
But I didn't get anything done like cleaning or sorting or anything. I guess that's how things go sometimes. Oh, but I did have my first fully gluten-free day today. I'm still a little winded at times, but no stomach pain. No feeling horrible no sooner I started eating or afterwards. *whimper* Do I really have issues with gluten??? While I was glad I didn't feel horrible, I felt horrible because I didn't feel horrible. Need to reread that line again? Go ahead, I'll wait.
Got it now? Cool. So basically it hit me that I am facing, yet again, another permanent change in my life. First it was the thyroid pills, and now going gluten-free? I mean I wanted to change my lifestyle, but this is still a bit hard to swallow. I'm also ticked I didn't stick with it when I started last time. But I've grown some and realize this time that going gluten-free doesn't have to be a horrible experience. It can't be, it's for life. So yeah, time to pull out and dust off all those gluten-free living books. I believe I have 5 of them. That should be enough to get me started.
What else did I do today? Oh yeah, I just found the coolest shop. Since it's an Etsy shop, I count it as crafty and so I shall share it here.

And that's about all I did today. Nothing exciting, and sadly nothing doll related. But perhaps I will get to tackle something doll related tomorrow. We'll just have to wait and see. And on that note I am calling it a night. I think I may catch up on a Korean drama some and then head to bed. I hope you are all doing well and having a great start to your year. I will talk to you lovelies soon. Bye for now. :-)

Anyone Play MMOs?
Now like I said I am offering this to my doll peeps, but if you are a gamer who has a blog and comes across my blog looking for codes go ahead and leave a comment that you'd like it as well. I will pick dolly peeps first but if no one says they are interested in the codes then I will pass it on to a gamer. You must have a blog or something to show me you are a gamer and not someone just collecting codes. If I can't find proof of you being an actual gamer then I won't give you the code. Oh, also leave me a way to reach you, this goes for everyone, so I can send the codes when or if I get them. I will update you all on that in a few days. I'm super excited about the new event and the new land. Oh, and before you leave a comment for the code, please check to make sure your system meets the game requirements.
Ok, so I will know more about the codes in a few days and will make a post about if I have them or not. Just thought I'd mention it here now since it may take a while for people to see I am blogging again and for those interested in gaming to see it. Ok, I'm off to work on articles again. Bye for now my lovely peeps.
Writing and article about apps,

Where I’ll be.
Hey ladies and gents, I thought I’d pop on here real quick to let you know I’m still here, still working behind the scenes on something, and while doing that I am also back to playing video games. LOL! I was a big gamer when I was a little younger, and well I guess it’s still there but I try to repress it…says the girl who’s own mother is a bigger gamer than her. Geez. So I am play Saboteur while I wait for my sister to finish her shift at work. She just left for a 2 hour shift at work. She’s working the midnight release of a game I always get on console. I know I mentioned it, but just in case you forget, watch the ad.
Heck yeah!!! The Sims 3 for Console. I’ll be playing on PS3. My sister got a sweet discount at work and I get some perks for my preordering. Eeeeee!!! I paid it off on Friday so I now I must wait for roughly 2 and a half hours to get my little hands on my new precious. So I may not be around for a few days. BUT I will be around on Halloween. I have a post already set for that day, so look forward to that. Also, anyone doing Nanowrimo this year? If so let me know so I can add your as a writing buddy on there. I can’t wait…omg…I never finished my novel outline!!! Omg!!! I was going to work on that today!!! But I was playing Saboteur and…omg!!! Ok, gotta jet. So much to do so little time. I’m planning a get together for Saturday. Not sure about other places, but they’ve recently started having trick-or-treating on Saturday if Halloween falls on a Sunday. So we want to watch scary movies and give out candy. Do I plan to dress up? Yep. As what? Myself…dressed up. Lame I know, but I’m looking forward to it. Ok, jetting, now, bye kids.

*Looks are bloodshot eyes in the mirror.*
Ughhh! My eyes!!! They are tired and they burn for the second day in a row. Not to mention I’m just plain pooped and tired. Why? *blushes* Because I just beat Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light twice. Yesterday in mulit player and today in single player. My hands hurt, my eyes hurt, and my sister just invited me to join her and her friend to play some Perfect World! I know, I know, I could say no…but I don’t want tooooo. LOL! I know, you have no pity for me. Meanies!!!
Now as for the game, it’s pretty good. It’s set up arcade style, and at first I didn’t think I’d like it, but in the end I actually did. The game goes quick and finishes quick. I started around 4 something and finished just now, so roughly 6 hours with tons of breaks in there. Not bad. Now since I got that out of my sister, tomorrow I plan to spend all day sewing. Now that I have more light in the room I craft in, I don’t have to worry about stopping before night. I had to do that before because it would be darkish in the room and hard to see so I didn’t craft at night and it kept me from working on things since I knew I’d have to stop. Now if I don’t want to stop then I don’t have to. Woo hoo!
Well now I’m off to call the boyfriend to check up on him and then play some Perfect World. Talk to you all later.

Hey you!
Hi. :-) Sorry guys that I was much a loser and didn’t get back to you about the codes, not sure if anyone wanted them or not. Either way, I never got them because my email for the account was AOL and AOL likes to gobble up your emails and send them to a little place I like to call Email Hell. Somewhere in a hot nowhere’s land there are two innocent codes screaming for their lives. *sigh* Sowwies. The game sucked anyway. And the other game I went back to, well it sucks now too because now everyone is a high level and hangs out in the high level cities so you are lucky if you see one person per hour in the lower level cites. Sucks. I’ll stick with Perfect World.
But I feel bad coming back empty handed so I have another code opportunity for you guys. If you are interested and own a PS3, codes are being offered for “Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light” beta. You go to the website, sign up for a GameSpot account and then put in your info and you get a code for the Playstation Store to download the game. The beta is only good until the game comes out on the 28th, so get it while the getting’s good. I plan to download tomorrow and check it out. It looks like it will be interesting, and I’m a Lara Croft fan anyway so of course I love it for that. Just hate the angle of it, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it.
In other news, I have been lax in doing anything due to not feeling good. I really feel I am allergic to something. Dairy or glutens or something. I need to figure out a way to check for that, but without a doctor since I don’t have health insurance. :-( I guess just cutting back to bland gluten free food and seeing how I feel. Now, anyone know of a website that tells you what a nice bland gluten free menu consists of?
Also the boyfriend had surgery on Monday and that had me stressed, but he’s doing good and he’s healing up at home. He’s not a happy camper right now, but he’ll be ok once he heals.
And other than that not much of anything. Kind of been down some and I don’t know why. Humm, watched the last episode of As the World Turns on Friday. Lovely ending to the series, but sad it’s gone. But hey, gives me more time in my day for other stuff. Been watching the Korean drama “The First Shop of Coffee Prince”. LOVE IT! It’s so funny and veryyyy dramatic. But most Korean dramas are. I like them for some reason. I already have my next one planned to watch when I finish this one which should be this week.
I’ve got a dentist appointment on Friday that I am going to cancel and push back a month. It’s a cleaning, so it can wait another month. Just don’t feel like going. I always stress over these appointments, even though it’s a cleaning and simple, I hate them. I feel stressed, they take so long to get to me, and I just feel uncomfortable there. So I will push it back a month. Maybe I’ll feel better going after the temps drop some. I mean how can you be in a bad mood with crisp air in your longs, beautiful fall colors around you, and the hint of the holidays in the air? Can you guys believe the holiday season is about to start. I say it officially starts on October 1st. Halloween is part of the holidays to me. I want to plan something to do this year for Halloween, but I don’t know what. Still deciding on it. It’ll be here in no time and then NaNoWriMo!!! So excited for that this year. Not sure what novel I will work on, but November is always a relaxing and stressful month for me with Nano, but I love it so much. Humm, ok this is getting long and going off into another direction. So I will close now. Just wanted to let you all in about the LC beta code. I’ll be back later tonight with a doll post. Bye until then.

Meh, not so interesting.
Ok so my sister and I tried Vindictus and didn’t like it. It was mostly go see someone, go onto boat with party, kill in a dungeon, go back to person, go onto boat with party, kill in dungeon, go back to person, etc., etc. So not all that fun.
I haven’t received my codes yet. I’m wondering if I will since it’s emailed to AO-Hell. If I still get the codes I will just post it here and let the first person who sees it have it. I still promised one to a friend but if he decides not to play then I will post both codes here.
I really thought the game would be more interesting but it’s not all that. My sister and I were talking and decided to go back to Mabinogi for a while. We’ll see how we like it again. We loved the beta. I forget why we quit. I am thinking grinding, but there is so much to do on the game I think I’ll stick with it for a while. If you are interested in Mabinogi you should check it out. It has a lot more things to do than Vidictus. It has changed since my sister and I were there and we are excited to see how it changed. I am downloading the game now since she downloaded Vindictus. An hour wait. Guess I’ll go work on another doll blouse. Oh I need to show you the picture of my first attempt. If I am fully honest with myself it doesn’t look THAT bad, but I see the flaws and I want it to look better. So I guess I will work on that after I post about my work from yesterday.
Ok, I’m off peeps. I should be making another post soon about the blouse. Bye for now.

Does anyone play mmorpgs?
Ok first off, for those who don’t know, mmorpgs are massively multiplayer online role-playing games. This is your World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings, Perfect World, Ragnarok, etc. My sister first introduced me to these games years ago with Ragnarok. I like playing these games but after a couple of days of non-stop play for HOURS I start to feel and realize I could put these hours of gaming to better use and so I quit playing as much and then quit all together. But I still always like to try new ones that come into beta to see if this one will keep my attention longer.
The problem I find with mmorpgs is that after a while all you are doing is grinding to get your level up if the game is not quest based. I currently like playing perfect world but as my rank gets higher I get closer to the level where I will just grind and have to help lower levels with their quests in order to up my level. I hate that. If you are going to have a game with high levels at least have quests to do to up those levels. But oh well, it is what it is. I haven’t played Perfect World in a while and I think I am ready to abandon it again. I just might if this game my sister told me about seems better. It’s the prequel to a game we already played and liked.
The game is called Vindictus Online, it’s based on the Mabinogi mmorpg, which I really liked playing. Mabinogi is kind of like the cuter version of Vindictus, so I’ve heard. Vindictus happens before the “time” of Mabinogi. I’m interested in seeing how it is. I’ve heard it’s a lot different from Mabinogi. I’d like to see what they kept and what they got rid of. My sister and I had a lot of fun on Mabinogi so I’m sure we will have fun with Vindictus. I’ve heard Vindictus is the American name of the game and that Mabinogi Heros is what it is called elsewhere.
Well, now to the point of my post, when a person with a beta code uses their code they get two additional codes. I could easily put them up on a gaming board or on YouTube or heck even Facebook, but I wanted to give my blog readers the first option to have them. I haven’t gotten them yet, but my sister has a code, I believe because of where she works, and she’s giving me one of her additional codes. I, in turn, will end up with two codes, only one code now since I have given one to a gaming friend. So, if you are interested in playing Vindictus and want to get into the beta leave me a comment on this post. I WILL check them. I know I have been a major slacker and I’m going to catch up on all comments today, but this post in general I will make sure to check. If no one has posted they want the codes code in 24 hours, meaning 4 pm eastern time on Sunday, then I will just post them it on a related Youtube video for the game and let someone there have them it. So act quickly if you want them it.
If you are curious about game play, here is a video for you to check out.
Check out the Vindictus website to sign up or learn more about the game. I just had to reactivate my game login from YEARS ago. But I am all ready to game!!! Well, as soon as my sister gives me the download and code. LOL! Well just got the code, now waiting to see if the game plays. Just saw, it plays well after she brought down the graphics some. I have to go get the download from her now. And one cool thing, usually in betas that once beta is over the system is wiped, but this time if you get in you get to keep everything once beta is over. Very cool. So yeah, like I said, leave me a comment with a way I can contact you and I will give you the code. First come first serve. See you all in game. :-)

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

So, no sooner I finished Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, I was hot on Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. And let me just say this game was even better than the first one. For one thing it had me laughing with the dialogue alone. The conversations between the characters were witty and smart and just plain funny at times. I love good banter and this game delivered it in just the right amount.
We start off our game at present time with Nate in a bad position. It confused me at first as to what the heck was going on. But knowing how Uncharted delivered, I knew all would eventually be revealed and to, for now, roll with the punches. So I did my thing and got Nate out of the sticky situation, and right when you think things are getting better they start to change to bad and seem to be going to get real bad real quick when all of a sudden it is decided we need some back story. *phew* Ok, just as long as you get me out of there.
So we find Nate relaxing in a tropical paradise when he is approached by an old "pal" who has an "in" on some special loot. This "friend" had a lady friend that will be joining in on the fun that Nate eventually agrees to join in on. And thus begins another adventure for Nate.
Now, on the get go, I am wondering what happened to the characters from the last game, and was so happy to see they were not left behind. I don't trust the people he hooked up with in the beginning of the game and its nice to know he has proper back up.
As like with the last game, the scenery is beautiful and so detailed. I'm a gal who loves when detail is paid attention to and I can respect the work that went into making this game look as good as it does.
Along with great scenery, the great gameplay is back, multiplied, I'm happy to say. More shooting, more stealth, more weapons, more, more, more. Love it! And this was just on normal level. I once again have to go back through and collect treasures, which I plan to do on very easy and then go through again on the next hard level up from normal. I hear that one's is a royal butt kicker. :-)
One of my favorite parts of the game? The end. :-) I love the final dialogue of the game after the world has been saved and everyone is back in a village safe and sound. Like I said, I love good banter and I think the end of the game had THE best banter in the game.
So, on a scale of 1-5 with 1 being worse and 5 being best, I give Uncharted 2: Among Thieves a 5. Same as the last one, great gameplay, even better than the first one. Great scenery, I'd say on the same level as the last one just different places. And there is mos def replay ability. Loves it. I highly recommend it to you lovely readers if you haven't or if you already have played it. If you can play it on hi-def, mos def so do. I can't, but its beautiful on the tv I do use, so I can only imagine how beautiful it is on hd. I heard through the grapevine that it looks beautiful on hd, and the source is trustworthy. ;-) So until next time gamer geeks and geekas.

PS-
Nate I so know you were a 10 and not a 5. Stop playin. ;-)

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

So I have wanted to play Uncharted since I heard about it. It was like Tomb Raider but with a man. Funny thing is I didn't play Uncharted until years after it came out. In fact the second one had already come out by the time I played it. LOL! But I didn't get any spoilers for it so it was all good.
So like I said, when I first went into Uncharted I thought of it like a Tomb Raider but with a male. I soon found out I was wrong. Don't get me wrong, its got some Tomb Raider-ish characteristics. Its got her famous shimmy and the wall walk, but that's about where the similarities end for me. Sure they were both after treasure, but with Drake the story and plot was more engaging for me. Tomb Raider stories tend to be a bit boring to me for some reason. But I wanted to find out more about Drake and I felt like I was literally along for the ride with Nate.
I have never been a fan of stealth, but Nate has changed my mind on that. I am starting to love the element of surprise that stealth has to offer, at least in this game. Not sure how it will be in other games but I am willing to find out now.
Ok, so the two things I LOVE about this game is the fact that when Nate is almost dead, you find a good hiding place and wait it out and he's ready to go. None of this finding health to give him energy. I wish more games were like that. Another thing I love about the game is that fact that if you get stuck it will eventually offer you a hint of what you should do next without laying it all out for you step by step. It still makes you have to work to get the goal you need to go to move on. And of course along the way you have to try to stay alive against baddies that don't want you to get to the end of the game.
Now I used to consider myself a sweet and meek gal, but once I got into surprise attacks, grenades, sniper shooting, etc., well that was just to yummy to pass down. I found myself hooting and hollering when I would take out a group of guys by throwing a unsuspected grenade into their camp, or better yet, taking them out one by one with my ninja like action. *insert ancient gong here*
The theme of Uncharted is to learn about, well, Drake's fortune and the outcome of what happened to Drake. I won't ruin the end for those who haven't played yet. All I will say is the story is very interesting and it doesn't bore you and the outcome is logical and doesn't make you roll your eyes and make you think you wasted all this time playing for a stupid outcome.
I love all the characters in Uncharted, especially the good ones, and the ending made me feel fulfilled and like it was a job well done. This game, I feel, has replay ability due to the fact that along the way you need to collect treasures. I hadn't done that the first time through, so I need to do it again. Also, there are different levels of game play. I started on normal, but next time I go through I may go up a level. Or play on very easy to go through quick to get the treasures then go up a level for more trophies...which I hear is a kick in the ass and I can't wait to try it. :-)
On a scale of 1-5, with 1 being worse and and 5 being best, I give Uncharted: Drake's Fortune a 5. The gameplay is amazing fun, the scenery is amazing also. Forgot to mention that. I wish I had an hd tv to play this on. The scenery in this game is worth the play alone. This has to be one of the prettiest games I have played in a long time. Even with all the rough game play, the scenery is still just gorgeous. The thing that also makes this game gain a 5 from me is the ability to replay and the game not get boring. So if you couldn't already guess, I highly recommend this game to those who haven't played it yet and even those who have and should replay it. ;-) Until next time fellow gamer geeks and geekas.

Style Savvy
I found this commerical just too funny. But it made me want to know more about the game. So I hit the Tube of the You and learned that it was a fashion game that had the player playing a stylist and sometimes a fashion designer. I had to have it.
My first thoughts of the game were that I didn't think I would like it. I looked very anime-ish to me. It took me really getting into the game for me to start to see its fun potential. The clothing, so far, is ok. You get started off working with Grace in her shop until you can prove that you have what it takes to run your own shop. Its then that you meet the cute shop owner who agrees to open a shop for you. So you now run your own shop with clothes you buy from the exhibit center. You also compete in fashion shows to show of your styling skills and you win special clothing items from that. The international challenge changes every month, but you can go back to all of the fashion shows and play them as long as you don't lose. If you lose then you have to wait until the next day, your time not game time, to play again. However if you save before you go compete, then if you lose, just turn the game off without saving and go play it again.
Throughout the game you gain the opportunity to expand your shop's stockroom, gain more music and store decor, and several other perks that add to game play. You beat the game by winning all the fashion shows, but even after that there is continued game play. You can sell stuff online, buy offline from other shops, get special downloads from online, change your shop, and continue to compete in fashion shows. Also as the seasons change, the clothing you can buy changes. There are also side events that allow for photo ops, so be sure to change clothes when you start you game. You can also get your hair done at the beauty salon and also buy make up and have your eyebrows done at the beautician.
So this game has a lot of game play to it and I really don't see it just being for little girls. I have see many grown woman playing it as well as fashion savvy men. So if fashion is your love, you will want to give Style Savvy a try.
The only downside I see to the game, is while it has replay ability after winning, it gets very repetative quick and could become boring. I'm at the point where I only log on and play to get my special clothing item for the day. Then I stop. So I say take your time with the competitions so the game still seems fun.
On a score of 1-5, with one being worse and 5 being best, I give it a 4. Its a fun game and has a replay ability. The reason it didn't get a 5 is because it can and does become repetitive quick and can become boring. That's my only real beef with the game. So enjoy Style Savvy and if you have played it let me know what you thought of it. :-)

Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney

Hey guys, I am back with a review. I used to do them a lot in the past and just stopped, so I thought I'd pick them back up again. As some of you know I like to play video games in my spare time. Here lately I like playing with my DS a lot and one of the games I finally finished was Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney.
Ok, first let me say that while this game is fun, its long and seems a bit drawn out to me. The one thing I hate about the game is ALL THE READING! Seriously, you are reading for about a good hour learning about the case and collecting evidence. Then you are reading another hour for the court session. Then you may have to go collect more evidence...another hour of reading. Another court session...another hour of reading. And then you are done...with only one case! LOL! There were about five on this game. The last one is like a freaking whole new game in itself.
I did love, however, collecting evidence. Some of the stuff you had to do was pretty cool. And the end credits were among some of the coolest I've seen on a game. But after playing that I wanted to take a break from it...until my sister handed me the second in the series to play. Ummmm...what?!? I plan to finish it in a week...plan to.
The characters in this game were easy to love. From their cute names, to their silly backstories and relations to the case. And once you figure out what happened, how it was done, where it was done, and who did it, you are just amazed as the story unfolds.
So my rating for the game on a scale of one to five, one being worse and five being best, I give it 4 and half stars. It would have gotten 5 stars if not for allllll theeee freakingggggg readinggggg. LOL! It just goes so slow to get up on the screen and it just seemed to dance around the information you really want to know. And what drove me batty the worst was a gentleman in the last case that would constantly make a dramatic pause and you couldn't do anything but wait until he was done. Omg!!! That drove me batty!!! But through it all I guess I am ready to start on the second one. Be prepared to see another game review from me soon about that one. :-) But as for this game, I highly recommend it for those who like puzzle games or CSI shows. You will be very entertained. :-)

Is it just me...

Or does the new Barbie from the Barbie and the Musketeers line look very similar to...

80s cartoon heroine She-ra? Look the rest of the picture, the could easily be She-ra of a nationality or just her merry sidekicks.

Now why am I looking at this instead of working on my novel? Because I am getting tired. I barely slept last night but I don't want to fall asleep now and throw everything off. So I've locked myself into the room I craft in and refuse to leave until I have written 2,500 words. So far, not so good. I do this while I watch my Blythe's hand bleach in the sun. :-) Ok, sleep it setting in, must get back to writing.
Oh hey is anyone a gamer? Yes? No? Well The Guild's new season is finally online today. Give a watch if you are interested and tell me what you thought of it. :-)
Season 3 - Episode 1: Expansion Time

I have to have it.

This, ladies and gents, is the lilac Hannah Montana PSP. My sister, some friends, and I were having a discussion about it the other day. My sister and I both love the color, but its the fact that its marketing Hannah Montana...say what...and well my sister simply hates the girl and I think I'm a bit old to sport her on my PSP. I can't find any pictures of the flip side of the thing. I can only imagine there being a picture of Hannah, Miley , or both on the flip side with Hannah's logo in big bright letters. I told my sister a little Goof Off might take the right off. But would it mess up the finish on the PSP? I would think it wouldn't, but would I be willing to take the chance?

My sister also likes this blue one, but while it's pretty, its just not me. So I don't know. It'll be awhile before I buy a PSP. I would usually go for pink items, but this lilac one calls to me. But in reading more about it here is something I found on a forum:
On the back, the PSP logo has been replaced with a Hannah Montana logo and the coldboot screen has been replaced with the opening credits to Hannah Montana. Too bad. Freaking Sony just has to be the ladies' man right? This thing is trash, it's just like the Hello Kitty pandemic. Here's a better idea, instead of buying yet another crappy-colored PSP unit and blowing more because it's a promo for Hannah Montana, how about buying a cheaper Piano Black PSP, the color it is supposed to be, and just change your XMB color to a purple instead! OMG!
This was just a comment left by someone, but I believe it. It is a lot to pay for a logo I'd want to take off and software I'd try to delete. Oh well. It was a thought anyway. Who knows, maybe when I am ready to buy a PSP they Hannah Montana one will be cheap or there will be a new color that captures my eye. :-) A girl can dream.
Loves ya,
Mouse
