When it rains it pours.

Or in my case here it turns into ice which can be a lot worse than rain. This week has NOT been my week. My dentist appointment I had for Tuesday was canceled because my hygienist was sick. This is the third time I've been canceled. So word to the wise, don't set up medical stuff during cold anf flu season. Ugh. Well, the day I should have had my appointment I woke up with sore throat. Hummm. Well, I did sleep with my window open the night before, maybe the chimney smoke from other houses in the neighborhood irritated it. Fast forward to the evening, I could barely swallow. Ok, so I figured I was getting a cold. The next day my throat is worse. I start with the cough meds. But now I am getting chills and I am achy. Uh oh. By Friday my simple cold had turned into a full on flu!!! Aches, pains, headache, coughing, sneezing, congestion, the whole freaking 9 yards of it people.

Now I know I seem a bit weepy, but I haven't been sick in two years, maybe 3. I just haven't. And my immune system is crap. Well, I guess I forgot what it felt like to be sick and now I am just complaining and complaining and complaining. It's weird, I am in so much pain even my gums are hurting. I am hoping it's the flu causing the pain and not the deep cleaning I had. So my mom caught this mess too. And the thing is we went and saw my friend and her young kids the other day. Well all of them got sick too and my friend's daughter and her daughter's grandmother got sick. Then her daughter's grandfather got sick. And now my friend is sick. So we are trying to figure out if they caught it from us or we caught it from them. Remember, my hygienist was sick. So this all could have started from her. But who knows. All I know is that I am still in pain and hope the worst is over.

Everyone has been worried about me and I feel bad that all I can really say is a quick muffled "thank you" before zonking out again in bed. But thank you to all who have been worried about me. I really think I am rounding the corner of this race to get well and I will be winning soon. I hope to be able to post one day soon "I fought the flu and I won." LOL! Ok, that was the flu talking, had to be.

Well peeps, I be off now. I still need to figure out how to fix my computer and I need to lay down get some more rest. Not sure if I will be making it to my dentist appointment on Monday now. The roads are still covered in ice! Ugh! And I wanted to go to Tuesday Morning on...well...Tuesday morning for their sale. Hopefully the streets will be clear by then. Ok must really get to bed. Bye for now.

Free All Music

Hey guys, I wanted to tell you real quick about this new beta that I heard about. Free All Music is a website where you can legally download up to 20 songs a month for free by just watching advertising before you download. I personally think this is an interesting answer to piracy.

You have to sign up to get in the beta and wait for an invitation. I am still waiting, but thought I'd give you guys the option to get on the list too. This website was talked about on national news so I don't think it's spam or anything, but do your research if you are a little concerned about that.

So if you like music and want free downloads of your favorite artist then click the link above and sign up. Takes a few seconds and then keep checking your email for your invite.

Blogger comments fixed.

Or at least they should be. Thanks to the lovely Smidge Girl for bringing to my attention they weren't working. I tested them and put them in a pop up window. I hope that works for you all now.

Also if you left a comment, I will respond soon. Got hit with a nasty cold suddenly and am dealing with it. Haven't been sick in two years. This year I WILL be getting my flu shot. Sucks to be sick. Ughhhh! Ok, talk to you lovelies soon. Bye for now.

Ok, so let's try that again.

Hey kids, sorry the blog was down for a bit. I transferred the posts from my new doll blog to here, and then closed that blog. I really want all my doll related information under The House of Mouse name since the stories will be at my website called The Mouse Pad. I also wanted to crosspost my doll entries directly over to my LiveJournal and having it in another blog was hard to do so. I thought separating everything would make it easier for readers, but I feel I just made it harder. So I am going to bring back a few things to this blog.

This will be my main blog about random things going on in life as well as doll related items. I will be keeping my writing blog separate; but I will post a link to this blog when it is updated for those who want to read about my writing. Since I am getting serious about becoming an author, I wanted a place that was just completely centered around writing. Everything else will be on The House of Mouse...yeah...like I had it before basically. *rolls eyes* Yeah, lesson learned people, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. So welcome back to The House of Mouse, and there will be no more tweaks for a good long while. Now it's time to work on the website this week. It never ends. Always something to do. Guess I should be happy about that. Well, that's all for now. Talk to you lovelies later. Bye for now.

Barbie is one rich snobby gal.

At least that's how the following video makes her out to be. Ok, I've been hanging out at Barbie boards to much. My blog is to Barbie oriented. Going to be switching gears soon, I promise.

But back to the title, I saw this video about the Barbie themed room a rather expensive hotel. The way the woman talked about "Barbie" it makes her seem like a rich snob of a gal who feels everything should be handed to her. It didn't really make me feel like staying in this room. It makes me feel others would feel that way about me too, but heck, if you can afford a night stay in the room then I guess you kind of are. LOL! I like the room and wouldn't mind looking around it real quick, but trust me, I wouldn't want to stay the night. I'd find a shopping spree through Volks store out west far more interesting. But that's just moi. Take a look at the video and see what I'm talking about.

So what do you think? Is Babs a spoiled little rich girl or just really misunderstood? Either way, the room is very interesting and I'm sure it will pull a lot of traffic. But just wanted to share that with you all. Bye for now kids.

People of Walmart and doll lovers unite!

Ok so I was on People of Walmart and I saw this picture. Click on it to be taken to the actual page and website.

Photobucket

Ok, I know to some it may seem creepy, but I think people who are brave enough to show their doll love like this is cool. LOL! This person looks a lot like a person I watch on DeviantArt. I'll have to check into that. But love their doll and their look. It's not my kind of look personally, but I love it. Ok, just had to share this with you all. It sucks that the doll hobby is made to look freakish through the POW website, but I still got a smile and giggle out of seeing it.

Totally cool interactive Barbie ad.

Ok, so I don't know how many of you have seen this Barbie ad, but I had to share it here. It's interactive. They go through the past years of Barbie and when you hover over the ad, they show you the name of the modern version of the doll and show it on the side as well. Very cool. I think more ads should be more interactive like this. Hey, I was in marketing for a while, and this stop causes me to geek out. Check it out below.

So what do you guys think of the ad? Think it's the way of the future? If so how do you feel about it? Shop straight from the ad. I like it. :-) That's all for now.

Big Lots and Target doll news and temporary week long hiatus.

Hey guys, Just wanted to pop on to talk about three things real quick.

First, I was in Big Lots today and on the shelves I found the kitchen set with the fridge, stove, and counter with microwave for 20 bucks. So if you were looking for that, you should hit your Big Lots because it seems they still have some sets out there. I mention this because I'm on the hunt for a kitchen, but I found the one I want at Target for the same price, so I'll pass for now on it.

Also at Big Lots in the craft section, they had several of those scrapbook t-shirts that you can easily slice down the back attach some snaps and have several interesting shirts for your dolls. They were $1.25. I plan to go back this week and get one of each. The designs were really cute and the price isn't too bad.

Over at Target I got lucky. I was hunting for a set for my photostories and found one on sale for $9.99. Target has their furniture sets, without the dolls, on sale for $9.99 this week. I got the game room set. It's so cute. I will be posting pictures of the set soon. I'll have to go back later this week to get the kitchen set with the purple glasses I wanted. They had the same one with pink glasses but I want the purple ones. So I will check Walmart first to see if they have it cheaper and if not go back and get the kitchen. Then I will only have one kitchen and one house to get before I can start my photostories up again. Woot!

Now on to the hiatus part. Those of you who have read me for a while know I take a hiatus from time to time to either sort out personal stuff or net stuff. This time its a blog thing. After talking to a friend about what to do about my blog, they suggested that I do what I want with my blog and if its to post what I'm interested in then just to do it. So, blog changes coming yet again for the FINAL time then I will focus on my website I am building and then I will be going back to working on my shop. Wow a girl shouldn't type so much when she's tired. I got up early to prepare mentally for a dentist appointment. I got a DEEP cleaning. OMG!!! Ok, it wasn't THAT bad. They put numbing gel on me and only one part hurt. This gal was thorough and I'm glad she was, the half of my mouth she did looks amazing. I go back next Thursday to get the second part done. Then I should be ok with my teeth. Fingers crossed tightly.

Ok lovelies, I'm off now. I'll be back next Tuesday. Oh! If this blog becomes private in a couple of days don't worry. I have not closed it. I am simply changing things up and don't want anyone to get errors while I am working on it. See you all next week. Be good until then. :-)

Clean your balls!!!

Sorry I haven't been posting much guys. Been working on cleaning and other such stuff. I still need to update the blog, and I think my blog separation experiment isn't working. I'll explain in another post. For now I just want to say I'm still here, still alive, and still blogging. :-) For now I leave you with something funny.

WARNING!!! If you have any issue with sexual innuendo please DO NOT watch this video. There is nothing actually sexual in this video, but it hints at it. It just gave me the giggles and now I will have to try for one of these things next week. They are all out right now. Bummer. Enjoy the video. :-)

On Writing by Stephen King

On Writing by Stephen King

So I finished reading reading a book that I had started a good while back and then stopped reading and had to reread due to that. So I finally finished it today and let me just say this book is amazing. It is so inspiring to anyone who wants to be a writer and its an interesting read to those who are just readers in general or fans of his work.

Now I'm not going to go into deep detail about the book since its been out since 2000 and there are many reviews of it, you can click the picture above to be taking to Amazon and read the review there.

What I will say about the book is that he really breaks it down for those who doubt if they are or could be a writer. He doesn't hold back on what he thinks constitutes what a writer is. I know everyone has their own opinions on that, but his I respect highly and agree with. Also this book was written around the time he had his near death experience in 1999 and was finished while he was on the mend and writing this book helped bring him back from a bad moment in his life. Reading the part about his accident and how he did come back from it, writing helping a good bit, just inspired me more and put me in awe of his talent.

Now let me tell you straight off, I'm NOT a Stephen King fan. I have never read any of his books all the way through. But that doesn't mean I don't know of his talent to write. He's very talented and I'm awe-struck by it, hoping to be as talented as he is. But this book he wrote on the craft of writing has reminded me that one should not write for money or fame, and most writers do not get much money or fame. One should write because they love writing and they have a story to tell. Both of which I do have. So I'm going to write for me. I'm going to write for my IR...read the book and you will understand that one. And I'm going to write for my characters, to tell their story to the world. And because of this book I can now because Stephen King gave me something I long thought I didn't have. He gave me permission to do so with guilt or doubt. So that's exactly what I'm going to do. Every single day. 2500 minimum. Starting today.

Fashionista Neck Post

Fashionista neck post.

So I had been hearing about the neck posts in the Fashionista dolls, but no one was showing them. They were saying that it was hard to get the heads off and that they had to cut the heads open to get them off. This initially worried me about trying to take the head off of one, but it was not bad at all. What you need to focus on is plenty of heat and plenty of patience.

I hit the plastic of the doll head with direct heat from my hair dryer for a few seconds. I had to do it about three times before some gentle pulling allowed the head to pop off. Heat is your friend people. ;-) But yeah, once the head is off you can cut the tabs off the post or cut the post down all together. I did neither since I don't plan on reheading the dolls. I just popped Tracey's head on and I was done with it.

So yeah, I hope I helped calm any fears any of you had of trying to take a Fashionista head off. Oh, and yes, that is a roll of toilet paper she is sitting on. I needed to prop her up on something and hey...at least you know I use it. ;-) LOL! Bye guys.

Fashionista Tracey...maybe not safe for work. Doll nudity.

Fashionista Tracey

So, since Fab Girl Barbie couldn't be rebodied, I decided to give her body to my vintage Tracey doll. I think its a great fit, and I love getting to play with her gain. I took some pictures of her to show her off. Warning, this may not be safe for work. A bit of doll nudity follows.

I eventually want to touch up Tracey's makeup. Her lips have slight rub marks. But I want to find the right peachy color. I may try to mix some. Fingers crossed. As for now, if its too bad I will adjust it digitally. So I hope you enjoyed seeing my new Fashionista. :-) Bye for now guys.

Fab Girl Barbie...a bit disappointing.

Fab Barbie

So a while back I learned about Fab Girl Barbie. She reminded me of my old Day to Night Barbie doll, and it made me want her. I thought her hair trick was cute too and that made me want her more. He clothes and accessories were cute too, so it was a no-brainer then. I had to have her. But she was 20 bucks and something told me that I did not want to spend 20 bucks on her. So I kept passing on her when I had the money for her. I felt I'd regret it, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend the money.

Fast forward to Christmas and I found her on Amazon for 10 dollars cheaper. My sister bought her for me for Christmas and I was so excited to get her. I went out and got a Fashionista body for a body swap, because I hated the body she was on, and I had plans to reroot her with pink hair. Well when I got her I opened her up and...wtf? The strings that control her hair trick go through her back and the top of her head. For some reason I thought it went all through her head. So she had to stay on her body. :-( Very disappointing.

Fab Barbie

To top things off, her clothes are very cheap fabric that snag and rip easily and her accessories are ok, but nothing exciting once you get them in person. The compact doesn't even stay closed. So it was all disappointing. I put her to the side and ignored her a few days. Finally I picked her up and looked at her. I mended the tiny rips in her bodysuit and I looked at her hair. I could still reroot her if I wanted, it would just be a bit trickier taking off her head I believe. I may try it. Not sure yet.

I named her Blythe because her string pulling action makes me think of Blythe dolls. She's not a bad doll, just not a very poseable doll. However that's ok, I use the stiff joint dolls in backgrounds of my stories for filler and back action. So it'll work out. She'll make a nice sales clerk or something. Meh.

Fab Barbie

Oh, see the chains on her arm? They came from the oddest of places. The other day my mom found some stainless steel pots and pans on discount at Walmart, so she bought six of them. They all had these ball chains on them and my mom gave them to me to make jewelry for my dolls out of. My guys will be stylin' soon. Just need to find some nice charms for them. I might have something now, but will have to look. If anything, the chain alone will look nice. I love jewelry for dolls and love making it. So this is a challenge I'm more than glad to take on. When I find suitable charms I'll update you on. :-)

Kmart action figures are crap!

Salvaged Male Doll

Ok, so a couple of years ago when I got into collecting dolls for photostories, I started collecting action figures. Since I was, and still am, on a budget, I looked for cheaper dolls that looked decent. That lead me to stores like Walmart and Kmart. In both stores I found these box sets of 3 male figures. The one from Kmart had a blond figure, a brunette figure, and an AA figure. The blond figure lost his arm, but I still used him in stories as an amputee character. I'll have to dig up old pictures of him or save it for the story and just say he got a donor arm or something. Humm. Anyway, the other two figures were just fine. Well, when things started happening in life I packed my dolls away in a plastic storage box and that is where they all stayed a few years, until the other day.

I opened the box and started looking through my dolls again and when I got to the bottom of the box I found two of the figures, that were perfect when I put them in safely and organized, were laying there with broken arms and legs. Now this storage box hadn't be touched in years. All my other dolls were fine. Even the one with the broken arm was fine. But the other two were broken. I am guessing from the weather change the plastic got weak and broke. :-(

The only lucky think is the brunette one was the same coloring of the blond that had already been in a story and was the father of triplets. So I wanted to keep him, and as luck would have it the one arm on the brunette that wasn't broken was the exact arm that broke on the blond. Well one screwdriver and a few curse words later I had him all fixed up. I kept certain things from the other dolls, the heads and screws, and bid the rest farewell.

Salvaged Male Doll

So here is my character, Tom or Thom...still deciding on the spelling of it, all together and ready for his close up, literally. I did not put him back in the box with the other dolls. I'll let him stay out and about and hopefully the weather change won't affect him to much.

So there is my first bit of slight customizing for the year. Hey, its something. More to come. :-)

Loves ya,
Mouse

Oh and ps-
Stay away from crappy Kmart generic dolls. They're crap. :-)

Fashionista Ken...May not be safe for work. Doll nudity.

So there's been this big stir for Fashionista Ken and when he finally came out everyone was all excited about how well he posed. Now readers of my blog know that I was excited for him to come out too, but that was for two reasons. One, I really liked his look and really wanted his hat. LOL! And two, I wanted the full Fashionista set.

On a doll board that will remain nameless, everyone was ooohing and aaaahing over how poseable he was and how Mattel finally stepped up their game. But umm, we've had this body for several years now. Were they just not paying attention, or do they think there's more to this chap than meets the eyes? Don't believe me? Have a peek. Warning, doll nudity ahead.

The back views of the bodies. As you can see, completely identical. The only thing different is the Fashionista Ken has a number imprinting in the plastic on his back. That's it. So, there you go people, the secret of the Fashionista Ken exposed...literally. LOL! I just wanted to share these pictures for those curious as to what his body was like. Hope this post was of some use to you. :-)

Fashionistas!

Fashionistas

So I finally got the last of the Fashionista Barbies...Fashionista Ken. :-) He's been a long wait to get, but I finally picked him up at Target last week. he was the last one on the shelf.

Fashionistas

I couldn't wait to get him home to take him out. I opened him while sitting outside of the post office waiting for my mom to mail something off. I simply love him and his whole look.

Fashionistas

I had to name him. So thinking about him and the kind of stories I was going to put him in, I decided on a cheesy soap opera-ish name. Ladies and gents, meet Stone. :-) He is Cloe's brother, first done of Robert Dolton - creator of Dollywood and Dolton Studios.

Fashionistas

So now I have all the Fashionistas plus one hybrid and one gal on a altered pivotal body. Loves it. I eventually want to get a few more Fashionistas for body swaps, but I will also be looking into other bodies and other dolls to join my stories, so I am not jumping at any more Fashionistas for right now. Unless of course they come out with darker complexions, then I may take a peek. For now I am happy and am ready to move on with the doll hobby.

I can't wait to share with you the story that's been floating around in my head for years. Stay tuned for that. Bye for now. :-)

Tomb Raider: Underworld (PS2)

Photobucket

Ok, let me first go on record as saying, this was the BIGGEST PIECE O' POO GAME produced. Please excuse my language, but Tomb Raider Underworld for Playstation 2 is not worth the month or trouble I had to go through to get it. Let me explain.

Ok, so when I first heard about Underworld, I was a little sad it was "only coming out o PS3", or at least that what all the articles I read said. Then later I saw it was coming out for PS2 and I got all excited. I heard that I could pre-order it, so I went to Amazon and pre-ordered the PS2 one while my mom pre-ordered the PS3 one. I don't own a PS3, but I do use one, but I wanted the PS2 version just because I have all the others that came out for PS2 and I figured I could get the PS3 version later when it became a greatest hit or something. So when I went to order I was a little confused on why the PS2 version didn't come out until 2009 when the PS3 version came out in 2008. I was a little sad about that. I knew I wouldn't play the Ps3 version much because at the time I couldn't get comfortable for playing long amounts of time where the PS3 was. But I went ahead and ordered the game and told everyone not to ruin it for me.

Well, the release date for the PS2 version kept getting pushed back for some reason, which irritated me to no end. But finally a day was concrete and I waited. The day came and went, and I waited. A week past, and it hit me nothing had come. Come to find out, Amazon had canceled my order, saying I didn't confirm it. One, I never got an email asking me to confirm, and two, when you order layaway stuff you have to agree that you understand that the product would be sent when it's released. Oh that got me so angry. I would have to wait another week or more for it to show up. I said eff that and decided to pay tax and go look for it in town. I could not find a single copy! So I HAD to go back to Amazon. A little over a week later it showed up. By now I was so disheartened, I just checked to make sure it worked and then tossed it to the side for the rest of the year.

It wasn't until I saw the PS3 version for sale for $9.99 that my mom wanted to get the PS2 version for $16.99. She started playing it and kept asking where I was in the game. Finally I just decided to play it so she'd stop asking. She beat the game just as I started playing and she started doing that annoying "I won't tell you how it ends. I won't tell you what happened." It almost seems smug to me. Like, "Haha, I know how it ends and you don't." But maybe this is just my grumbleglower that she knew how it ended and she could rub my face in it that she knew before me. My sister had beat the PS3 version a day after we got it, so I had to beat this game. I HAD to.

So I played, and got almost to the end when I got a part that gave me so much stress that I just quit there and called it a day. I had gone through so much crap with this game, I just didn't want to give it any more of my time that day. You see, I do not feel this game should have been called Underworld. I feel it should have been called Glitch City, because that is all this game is! The developers really let this game down. The PS2 version is a very watered down version of the original game. The took out one of the things that I loved in Tomb Raider. They took the sprint ability out. So you had to deal with her slow run the whole way through. Why they took this out, I don't know, but it was really bothersome. Eventually you don't notice it, but its still irksome in long hallways.

Then there was the watered down game play. I believe the Wii version was worse than the PS2 version. I feel for you Wii owners. I would like to play that version one day just to see what its like. If its how I suspect it is, I have no idea why the game producers honestly even bothered.

So the game picks up where the last game left us. Let me just say the last game was beautiful. The scenery, the gameplay, all pluses. This game was just like watered down cola. Its still cola, but lacks that strong cola taste you know and love. My sister told me the game was a quick game on PS3, but there was a lot more you had to do to reach your goals. The PS2 version made it TOO easy. Now mind you, I do like one thing in the game. No medi packs. It was like Uncharted. Give her a chance to catch her breath, and Laura was fine in a few seconds. It made doing daring jumps a little easier to do since you didn't have to worry about your energy much. Now that is something I'd like to see in any future Tomb Raider games.

Apart from that, the game did nothing for me. It wasn't much a challenge. No, I tell a lie. There were challenges...trying to work around the effing glitches!!! My mom kept going on about glitches and I didn't understand until I got into the game more. You push for Laura to shimmy left and her ass just stayed there. I would have to push several times to get her to move. Heaven forbid you let go accidentally and have to repeat. Then there were parts that if you didn't dismount or do something right she'd land somewhere else where she wouldn't move and you'd have to let her die and start over because she was stuck. WTF?!? These glitches alone caused me to spend more time working on certain levels longer than I needed to. I would clearly land on rocks, her body would be perfectly on rock, but she would still die because she "supposedly" landed in the toxic pool of water. What?!?!? She'd get stuck walking across beams and wouldn't walk onto the platform it lead to until you stopped pushing and even then sometimes she wouldn't. The camera angles were crap. Complete and utter crap!!!

If you can't tell, this game stressed me out beyond belief just from all the effing glitches. I have NEVER had a problem with a Tomb Raider game like I did this one. I wish the producers would have done us PS2 players a favor and just not dumbed it down for PS2. It was honestly like a slap in the face to Tomb Raider fans. I plan to get back to the PS3 one tomorrow and see how it fairs. I hope it has better game play, because right now I am not expecting much. No, correction, I'm expecting more of the same as the PS2 one. But I have slight hope for it. When I finish it, you all will be the first to know.

So on a scale of 1-5 with 1 being worse and 5 being best, I give this game a 2. The gameplay sucked. Sucked, sucked, sucked, sucked, sucked! Glitches, glitches, and more glitches. If you are looking for an easy version of them game then this game is for you, but I feel it will end up being more of a challenge then fighting a few more people and monsters in the PS3 version with all the glitches. Have I mentioned enough about the glitches yet? Anyhoo, the scenery? Sucked! The graphics were just awful, especially if you played other Tomb Raider games, you will see how awful the graphics were in this game. And this isn't me coming from PS3 and the beauty of Uncharted talking. The graphics were just horrible. It was like the original Tomb Raider minus the pointy boobs and hoof hands. Really disappointing. The game's one saving point has to be the ability to go back and play all the levels after you beat the game and you have a few choices of clothing and weapons you can use. I believe there is some artwork to look at as well, but I didn't look yet. After I bet it, I was so glad I didn't have to deal with it any more I just turned it off.

I honestly felt after the game was done I was missing something. I honestly didn't know if I should just turn the game off or if more was coming. I mean, the ending was so abrupt and this game was probably the first game I thought was a waste of my time. More reasoning why I am worried about playing the PS3 version. But I will do it for two reasons. One, it was a Christmas gift, and two, because I want to see how it differs from PS2's version. So stay tuned for that fellow gamer geeks and geekas. Until then, I'm going to go relax and start on the second Phoenix Wright game. That should be an interesting game at least...fingers crossed. :-)

White.

Ok, so I have to post about something that makes me scratch my head and go "Hummm?" Ok, so I had been noticing some of my female friends on Facebook were just randomly posting colors on their pages. I tried asking what it meant but never got a response. So I did the next best thing. I googled it. And it seems there is a game going on for breast cancer awareness and the colors the females are posting are the color of their bras. Now I'm not sure how this brings awareness on several levels. One, if they are just posting colors, how is anyone to know what they are talking about? And then, most of them don't want to tell in the post what the color is about but they will send a private message about it. Once again, how is that "getting the message out" if they are not posting about it in public? I mean eventually people are going to find out about the game and know on that day there were wearing a hot pink bra. I mean the world knows most women wear bras, so why hide it? And I still don't get how mentioning your bra color brings awareness to breast cancer. Walking a marathon and receiving a pink bra for participation is one thing. Proudly posting a color on your page for a game most of the website doesn't know about...yeah I just don't get it. Maybe its me being old...although all the people posting the color are my age. Or maybe its my new found don't beat around the bush kind of attitude. *sigh* I wish I hadn't changed so much from who I was and how my friends are now. Maybe then I'd "get" it. Am I just being a snot people, or does what I say make sense? Man that question just opened a can of worms. Be polite in your answers please. Remember, Santa is still watching you. ;-) Ok, I'm off. I've got so much to do today and its 4:11pm. Word to the wise, do not eat chocolate before bed, its just as bad as coffee. Bye for now kids.

Weight loss incentives.

So the year before last, someone bought me a doll as a weight loss incentive and I lost the weight and obtained the doll. But around the holidays I put the weight back on. So this year I have been given another weight loss incentive, but this time the amount I have to lose is a lot more, my own choice. So I won't get these dolls until the end of the year I'm sure, but it will be worth it when I finally reach the weight I am going for. Here's what I am becoming a loser for.

AA Jewel Secrets Barbie:

I had this doll as a child and loved her. But she was donated once my sister and I were done playing with dolls. I always regretted it and was happy to find her for sale for a decent price. Now she's mine again...well...almost mine. :-)

Next is Jewel Secrets Ken:

This next one I thought was interesting. The Ken on the package either looks like a senior citizen or her looks confused or constipated. LOL! Its very odd how weird the picture looks.

So those are my incentives to lose weight. A good amount of weight at that. But the prize I will get will be worth it. :-)

The worst shop ever.

I was on Etsy yesterday and I literally found "The Worst Shop Ever". And in this shop I found some interesting things Barbie related. The one thing that interested me the most was Bad Drag Ken Barbie.

For 25 dollars, this sexy beast can be all yours! You can oooh and aaah and at the craftsmanship that went into creating his strawberry blond wig. You can marvel at his string of pearls. Blue fur coat? He's got it. All of which accents his gold gown. Shoes? Who needs shoes when you look as fabulous as he does.

Bad Drag Ken Barbie not your pot of tea? That's ok, there are plenty of doll related monstrosities available to you in this shop as well as human related items that may either make you shake your had in disbelief or jump for joy that you finally found that one thing you have always wanted. Be sure to check out this shop, you'll be glad you did. :-)

Changes in the house.

Hey all, I am currently working on some changes here in the house of Mouse. I think you will like the changes. I am making the blog more like a website to section different topics up. I feel I was trying to fit to much into one blog. So the blog will be going through some in the next couple of days to weeks. Stay tuned for a fully informal post about the changes. Until I leave you with this "Awww..." moment with a real life Bambi and Thumper. Enjoy. :-)
