Happy Birthday To Me

So, the day is almost over for me, but I had to quickly pop on a say hi. Today is my birthday and I am exhausted from taking care of my new present.  Go here if you are curious what it is.  I am so ready for bed now.

In other news, I will be updating you all on some stuff tomorrow, since I am way to tired to do it now. But I wanted to wait to update on my mom until now. So it seems she had two mild strokes on both sides of her brain. Her eye sight seems to be the only thing messed up, so we are lucky and blessed.  She has a pacemaker now as well. She’s not very happy about that, but it will help wake up her heart when it gets to slow.

I really will update more tomorrow. I just wanted to pop on and give you a brief update and say hi. Miss blogging so much, and I will be back to it real soon. For now, take care, be good, and loves ya!

Is It Ok To Buy Yourself A Birthday Present

{source}

Because I’m gonna. Smile  So my sister sent me a link to a picture of the new 11cm Obitsu bodies.  I had gotten an email from Junky Spot but didn’t pay much attention to it until I saw that picture.  I gasped as I made grabby hands at the screen.  Just kidding, about the grabby hands, not the gasp.  If you have been reading along with me, you know that I love the mini dolls and want to form a mini army of dolls.  I just think they are so cute.  I feel that this new Obitsu body should defiantly be mine.  So I went through the website and formed my perfect doll as follows.

R.I.P. Furginia. :-(

R.I.P. Furginia

Furginia

The Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Furginia was the first pet I bought from my own money.  I had to beg my mom to let me get her and then she had to beg my dad.  LOL!  They both gave in, I did tons of research on ferrets, and then one day before I work I went and plunked down almost 200 dollars for a baby ferret that kept biting me while I held her.  LOL!  My mom and I stopped by the pet store so I could get her some stuff and when I came back out my mom’s finger was bleeding because Furginia bit her because she was trying to touch her.  My mom said, and I quote “I could never love anything like this.”  Yeah, Furginia became her grandbaby and was smothered with hugs and kisses by the woman.  LOL!  Furginia was loved by everyone and was the sweetest thing.  She grew to trust is and was the princess of the family.  She will be greatly missed and forever loved by us all.  She’d been sick for a while and I did some research and learned she had something that couldn’t be healed.  So I choose to make her comfortable and decided that if she ever showed she was in pain I’d do the right thing and have her put to sleep.  She never showed that.  She was still herself up to the very end.  I found her curled up next to her favorite toy this morning, she thankfully passed in her sleep.  I love this little girl so much and I will forever miss her.  It will really hit me when the cage is out of my room tonight.  If you have animals give them an extra hug and kiss today for me and let them know they are loved.

I’ll talk to you all soon.  Bye for now.

Hey! Hey guys!

Guess what I want.

Hehe. Yes I’m serious, and yes I’m getting one. I’ve never had any before but I think they look so awesome. I want to see if I can get them to live and stay living for the two years they can live up to. Looking for a kit now to get. I’m glad the kits don’t have that many in them, I think it would overwhelm me, but the start kits have only a fraction of those, so that’s good.

Oh, you don’t know what they are? :-D They’re brine shrimp. :-D Think I’ll either hit the toy shelves of Target or Walmart to see if they have any. If not, I found some cool kits on Amazon. I’ll let you know when I get them. Yep, I’m a big dork/kid at heart and I plan to stay that way. :-D

Ok, I should be sleeping, but...

I am still up. I decided to look for my patterns so I can start working on doll clothing after I finishing my photo cubes...lots of drying time with these things. Well, in looking for my patterns I found that I already had the pattern I bought the other day. But the one I bought is missing its instructions, so I guess it turned out ok, and well I would love to have doubles of all my patterns honestly. But I know my directions are around here somewhere. I guess if I find the directions later I can sell the copy I have or just keep it just in case. Who knows. No big whoop. Something kept telling me I had it already. LOL!

Ok, so can someone tell me why I have this song stuck in my head right now at 4:30 in the morning?!?

Seriously. First I started humming it, then I started whistling it, and then it was full on singing. LOL! Catchy tune, I can't help it. But dudes, have you actually ever seen a naked mole rat? I hadn't until today and *shivers*, it's not the prettiest thing out there. Rufus definitely had a serious makeover to appease the Disney heads. Take a look.

Photobucket

Yeah. But anyway, I think I will have a "nahco"...do those things really exist, and call it a night. Talk to you guys later on today...hopefully with pictures. Woot! Can I get a Booyah?!? BOOYAH!!! :-D

Bread anyone?

Bread Cat

So the other day I looked up on the fridge where we keep our bread box, and I noticed it was open and had something inside of it. Nope, it wasn't the bread...that was in use on the counter. It was none other than our kitty Holly or Hollinator as I so lovingly call her. Had to get a picture of this as proof that it did happen. ;-)
