Because I’m gonna. So my sister sent me a link to a picture of the new 11cm Obitsu bodies. I had gotten an email from Junky Spot but didn’t pay much attention to it until I saw that picture. I gasped as I made grabby hands at the screen. Just kidding, about the grabby hands, not the gasp. If you have been reading along with me, you know that I love the mini dolls and want to form a mini army of dolls. I just think they are so cute. I feel that this new Obitsu body should defiantly be mine. So I went through the website and formed my perfect doll as follows.

So I’m almost certain I want to get a fleshtone body. I kind of like the white, but I always get white. I should switch it up some. So I think this time around I will get fleshtone and get white next time.

For the head I’m really not sure. I liked the top one initially, but the bottom one is growing on me. I want to have the open eye head so I can put eyes in them for a more bjd feel. Both heads are so cute. I guess I will stick with the top one this time around and get the bottom one in white next time around.

So on the Junky Spot website it says the 21-23cm heads take 10cm eyes. The ones I like are these Hujoo eyes. I am wondering if they will fit with the big backs but I’m sure they will. And if not, I’m sure one day I will have a doll they will fit. But I just LOVE these eyes. I won’t be putting on eyelashes because I’m not big on eyelashes on eyes this small. I’ll paint on some simple ones unless I find some that are cute like the ones in the picture below. But I really just think painted ones are best on small eyes.

So the heads also fit a 4.5 inch wig, which my Bobobie Lucky fits and well, I haven’t been able to find her a wig yet. So I was excited to see these Hujoo wigs on the site. I liked the cut of this one, so I’d get this one for my new doll and…

I’d get this one for Christmas Noel, my Bobobie, since the poor girl still doesn’t have a wig after years of owning her. I still need to find some proper stringing elastic for her. But I wanted a green or pink or reddish wig for her and this would fit perfectly. So I’d get that for her.

And this gives you a rough idea of how cute these little ones can be. I don’t want the ones with magnetic feet, never have wanted them. I can be forgetful and I worry I’d place them on something like a dvd or something like that, which I tend to do with dolls, and well yeah. So I’ll skip out on the magnets. So yeah, this is what I want to get for myself for my birthday. This would be a purchase I couldn’t ask anyone else for because dolls are still seen as a waste of money, so I’ll gladly get it for myself. So what will I ask for my birthday when I am asked what I want? *innocent whistle*

A ham-ham! I know, silly, but ever since little Furbutt passed away I’ve felt a deep sadness and have been looking for a small pet to care for. At first I thought a rabbit, but a house rabbit needs a lot of care that I am not in a current situation to give. But a hamster would be small enough to take care of keep clean easily and just be a lift to my soul. I haven’t had a hamster in yearssssss. My last one was Spooky, a beautiful all white hamster that got a tumor and passed away. I think I’m ready to give hammies another try. Just need to figure out a way to convince everyone that a hammie would be the best present for me. LOL! A no more pets rule has kind of been put on the house, but a small hammie surely can’t be included in that rule right? Right?!? Ham-ham. *dreamy sigh*
Oh, and guess what is starting today at US McDonalds (sorry not sure about the rest of the world)? I thought it was so cool when I saw this.

Little Liv dolls and Liv doll heads in the Kid’s Happy Meals. I thought that was too cool. If I thought they’d be of any use I’d so try to collect them all, by seeing if I could buy them without the meals. I haven’t had fast food since October of last year and I want to keep it that way for as long as possible. But some stores will let you buy the toys for a dollar. But at 8 dollars and some change for tax I could go on the Walmart website and get a full size doll, so um yeah, no thanks.
But that’s about all for this post. It’s gotten long enough. I think I will watch some Shaytards then call it a night…err…morning. Ughhhh! I need to call the doctor this morning to ask about my iron supplements. Darnit all. Might have to stay up later than I wanted. We’ll see. Might have to call on Monday. Meh. Ok, I’m off. Bye for now all.
Loves ya,
Mouse
You definitely should get the 11 cm Obitsu body and the head of your choice. This is a great little doll body. You'll be very happy with the way she poses. I don't crochet, but I've bought some beautiful outfits on eBay crocheted for Kelly and they fit this little sweetie. Her legs are longer, so Kelly's long pants wouldn't work; but the dresses and shorts are adorable on her. Love the hamster picture you posted. I had hamsters in the past, and my heart broke into millions of pieces when they passed on. They just never live long enough........
ReplyDeleteOmg, I totally want an 11cm body too! I have some of Licca's younger sisters and kindergarten friends that would be adorable on this body I'm sure! I hope you do get yours for your birthday!
